Join us for the 2017 Molten Salt Reactor Workshop at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN, on October 3-4. Sessions will include presentations on 1) the inclusion of a National Technical Director for Molten Salt Reactors within Department of Energy’s (DOE) Advanced Reactor Technologies Program, 2) summary and highlights from DOE’s Molten Salt Chemistry Workshop held in April, 3) “deep dive” on the MSRE design and operations experience, 4) MSR safety and regulatory information update, and 5) overview of MSR safety and regulatory issues. Following the successful featuring of the “MSR Pioneers” at the 2015 MSR Workshop, this year a special session on the “MSR Trailblazers” of the Future is being planned.
